Theresa is a post-doctoral researcher at IRI-THESys, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She studied Geological Sciences with a focus on Hydrogeology at Freie Universität Berlin, RWTH Aachen and University of Manchester. After her Master’s, she was a research associate and doctoral student at the Hydrogeology Group, Freie Universitaet Berlin, doing research about participatory methods in hydrogeology with a focus on India. During her doctoral project she lived and worked in Jaipur, Rajasthan, for 1.5 years. Her main research interests are interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation and approaches, science communication and education as well as understanding the connection between groundwater and society and why and where conflicts arise.
