Prof. D.C. Singhal is a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology with total work exp of 47 yrs. including 37yrs. teaching & research in IIT-Roorkee, India; supervised 12 doctoral & over 80 masters students for dissertations. He has participated as short term expert in IAEA & World Bank programs and has edited 5 books and authored 80 research papers. His expertise in Hydrogeology and Groundwater Geophysics has been widely recognised. He also held the position of Associate Editor, HydroGeology journal in 2007. He has also won a number of professional awards within India.
