COURSE OBJECTIVES: This course is a review of modern characterization, remediation, and data management techniques for hydrocarbon impacted sites.
COURSE OVERVIEW: The course will consist of one day workshop of lectures followed by discussion provided by a range of industry professionals and university professors working on hydrocarbon site management. The morning will consist of a module on high resolution site characterization and alternative sampling techniques. The afternoon will consist of ways to extract value from existing data and remediation approaches. The course is sponsored by the Oklahoma Ground Water Association.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE: Knowlege of basic hydrogeology is useful.
